After your initial contact, MC Furniture Makers will arrange a home visit to discuss your ideas, note any likes and dislikes and take measurements. Although we specialise in fitted wardrobes, home studies, bookcases and cabinets, we will happily discuss any furniture needs you may have such as tables or chest of drawers.
Experienced Craftsmen for Your Bespoke Handmade Wooden Furniture
MC Furniture Makers is headed by Peter who is a fully trained Cabinet Maker and has over 40 years’ experience in furniture making. Using this experience and information gained from the initial visit, we will produce your furniture designs. These hand drawn designs will accompany us on the next home visit for your feedback.
A Second Home Visit to Complete The Design Process
The second visit enables us to discuss the designs, show sample swatches of timber, and decide on more detailed aspects of the furniture, such as doors, mouldings and fittings. We can show you photographs from our portfolio for inspiration. After placing your order we can start the process of producing your bespoke furniture.
Furniture Making and Delivery
Your furniture is constructed from responsibly sourced materials using traditional and contemporary methods. Depending on the required finish, the furniture is then oiled, waxed, polished or painted. Delivery is by prior arrangement and fitting is completed when applicable.
